Antoine Bédard is also known under the name of Montag, a solo electronic pop project that he started back in 2002. He released three albums and toured in a dozen countries // Since 2006, he has been working as a sound designer and composer on various projects, including theatre productions, short films, television ads and show themes as well as contemporary dance pieces. He started his carreer in music composition for theatre while living in Vancouver where he won a Jessie Richardson Award for best sound design // He since has worked with numerous theatre companies across Canada, including Jean Duceppe, Théâtre du PàP, Theatre Replacement, The Chop Theatre, Crow's Theatre // His music was used in various television productions including an advertising capaign for Tou.tv (Radio-Canada) and an episode of the popular British show Skins. // In 2010, he did all the sound work for Montréal modern, an audioguide about the history of modern architecture in downtown Montreal. // More recently, he has been interested in the relationship between music and architecture and he will launch a new project called "Mutations", a soundwalk involving 10 different composers who each translate into music a different buidling around Place des Arts, in Montreal. "Mutations" was produced by OFFTA and includes music by members of Braids, Duchess Says, Jérôme Minière, Diane Labrosse, Poirier and many more.
